A Certificate of Analysis is a report describing tests performed on a submitted sample. Its value depends on matching the report to the correct product, strength and batch or lot.
A result applies to the sample identified by the report. A generic product certificate is not the same as evidence for the stock currently supplied.
Purity describes the proportion detected by the stated method. Identity testing asks whether the material is consistent with the expected substance. One does not automatically prove the other.
Measured content is shown only when the evidence reports it. Purity alone does not establish the amount of material in a vial.
A named laboratory, report reference and source-verification route make a result easier to check. They are displayed only when supported and approved.
Current identifies the record referenced from the product now. Historical records remain available for earlier approved cohorts and do not occupy the Current product relationship.
A report does not by itself establish sterility, safety, efficacy, clinical approval or suitability for human or veterinary use. Not every certificate contains every test.
